Leah Goldsmith: Blog Purim Part 2 Day 4 of the Iran War- The trance music persists in the missile alert – sirens howling. I hardly call this harmony; the orchestra of sound has no form of order. Nothing is regular now – realities clash yet the sound of the music beating now overcomes. This reminds of a section in the Talmud in Babah Batrah page 10 row 2. The text says- “Rav Yosef had been dangerously close to death and they believed he had approached the world to come” they asked him – “what did u see?!” “I saw an upside-down world – those who are above here were below there and those who are below here were above there.” His father said to him” You saw a clear world – a world of clarity and truth. Purim is all about demonstrating the upside down. When people screamed “Poor Palestinians…” I went out weed whacking – paving new roads – preparing the ground work for solidifying the layer of restoration upon our ancient legacy. Who wanted to rebrand it into a made-up figment of our worst nightmare imagination? Who gave it legitimacy and tried to snuff us out? Who said they don’t hold by our Matriarchs and Patriarchs and who sadly stamp in their grandparents’ graves today persisting in the lie? Who made me travel like a lunatic from Wichita to Oklahoma City to El Paso to collect a few dollars to build our heartland as the iron doors of most synagogues clanged shut in my face. Who believed the lie as no one wanted the truth. As the Ayatollahs drove their people to physical thirst for lack of water as billions were spent on weapons of destruction and ways to choke Israel out – the western narrative called Israel as the culprit and they fell for it. Giving mishloach manot to people you actually have STRAINED relationships with is of the highest level of giving on Purim. This is MY MAHNA- let us HEAL this rift -let us create HARMONY now as POTUS enables us now to hopefully reveal the truths about the suitcases of cash sent to our enemies to the modern-day neo-Nazis that bunkered in on our borders with one objective- to annihilate the only Jewish State. And what better way than imploding it from within – from the very heartland place our biblical KETUBAH to HaShem happened. The west shockingly has been over run as we have. Who will stop this??? Purim is the day Ester reveals herself and now we are living in the time that Israel reveals herself.

Plan imploded. This is why even in the days of Mashiach even when holidays will become obsolete Purim will continue to be a major celebration. The lies fall to the dregs now. The music over rides any ballistic missile. The future of the truth rises now in an incredible day of PURIM SAMEYACH dearest friends of Itamar. It is in your zechut that we have accomplished so much!
