A Heartfelt Thank You from Itamar

My dear friends,

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing with Itamar at this very special time. There is so much uncertainty in the world today—so much tension and so many troubling things happening all around us—that it takes real effort to maintain our perspective and sanity. Your friendship and support mean more to us than words can express.

We have just completed another round of elections here in Israel, yet the political uncertainty continues. We must now wait to see what kind of government will be formed. With God’s help, the right-wing camp, under Bibi Netanyahu’s leadership, continues to hold a majority of the votes, but the path to forming a government remains unclear. We will have to see whether a government can be formed or whether the country will face another round of elections.

Politics certainly matters, especially at such a crucial time, when so much is at stake. But in the end, some of the most important achievements come through facts on the ground: building the land, strengthening our communities, and having each person do their part to add another stone, another building block, to the Land of Israel. That is the lasting work we are privileged to do together.

Thank you again for your extraordinary assistance. Your generosity and commitment have been astronomical in helping us accomplish our important goals. As we approach the end of the fiscal year, we need to make one more strong push to complete several important projects.

One project especially close to our hearts is the beautiful park we are building in memory of the Fogel family. They were brutally murdered when terrorists entered their home on a Friday night, Shabbat, and slaughtered members of the family. The park is being built directly across from their home—a place of tragedy that we hope to transform into a place of life, community, and blessing.

It has taken a long and challenging effort to bring this project close to completion. We have made real progress, but a substantial amount of funding is still needed to finish it. Any additional help you can provide, or any ideas you may have for reaching others who might join us, would mean so much. You have already done an enormous amount, and we are deeply grateful.

You are all such hard-working bees on behalf of Itamar! We need your continued help in spreading the word and bringing more people into this important work. Every contribution, large or small, adds up. Together, we can accomplish amazing things and continue building the Land of Israel, one building block at a time.

May God bless you all for your generosity, friendship, and dedication.

Shalom, shalom from the mountains of Itamar,

Rabbi Moshe and Leah Goldsmith
