Shabat Shalom dear Moshe, thank you for your interesting and enthousiastic story!
I have a question about it: in Jacob’s time the Torah was not there yet.
The Torah and the 10 Commandments were given to Moishe on Mount Sinai. That was much later.
Although there probably were proto-Torah texts in existence from Abraham’s time. And maybe even earlier from Noah’s era. But these were not the official Torah.
What is your explanation for this discrepancy in your story?
I would love to hear from you.

Shalom Martina excellent question you asked! The answer to the question warrants a lesson in itself. I will try and relate to this in my coming teachings. I can just mention that our sages teach us that the entire Torah was fulfilled by our forefathers even before it was given on Sinai. This in itself requires of course clarification.
